Son of Man

Jesus called himself the "son of man" more than any other title. And no one else called Jesus the "son of man." But this was more than just a title. Jesus was claiming to fulfill prophecies in both Daniel and Ezekiel. To believe Jesus is the “son of man” prophesied in Daniel and Ezekiel means that we believe Jesus is the king who has the power and authority to judge and forgive sin. He received that power and authority by taking on our humanity and in humility atoning for our sins by suffering as our substitute. The hidden hope is because Jesus became a son of man, we can become sons and daughters of God.
